What Are Invisalign Clear Braces?

Invisalign clear aligners are taking the place of metal braces. These aligners are made of clear, flexible plastic that molds your teeth. You can take the aligners out at night and put them back on in the morning. This lets you eat and drink whatever you want.

Each set of Invisalign clear braces comes with aligners for the top and bottom teeth. Each one is worn for two weeks before it needs to be changed. You’ll get a new set of aligners every two weeks until your teeth have moved.

The process can take anywhere from three to six months, depending on how quickly the aligners wear out and how much movement is needed.

Why Choose Invisalign Clear Braces?

Invisalign is a way to fix your teeth without wearing ugly metal mouthpieces. It’s custom-made for each person—which means it’s optimal for your mouth. And the best part? No one will even know you’re wearing it!

Best aligners are great alternatives to traditional metal braces. Here are some of the reasons why:

1. You Can Keep Your Natural Smile

Metal braces cover your teeth and gums, which can be uncomfortable and unsightly. Invisalign is made from clear plastic that fits over your teeth, so you can still show off your smile!

2. It's More Comfortable

Most people prefer Invisalign to metal braces because they are less bulky and heavy. They also help people breathe and talk better at the same time.

3. You'll Have Less Sensitivity

The invisible braces fit your teeth well so that they won’t hurt as much as regular braces. It is essential because if the braces rub against your skin, it could cause gum recession.

4. You Can Eat Whatever You Want

With traditional braces, you have to be careful about what you eat because you don’t want to damage the braces. But with Invisalign, you can eat whatever you want without worrying about it.

5. You'll Spend Less Time At The Dentist

Invisalign is a brace that doesn’t need as many check-ups as traditional braces. You only need to come in every six weeks rather than every 4-6 weeks like you would with braces.

6. You Can Take Them Out When You Need To

One of the best things about Invisalign is that you can take them out for special occasions. For example, you can take them out for a job interview or a first date. Be sure to put them back in as soon as possible so your treatment stays on track!

7. You'll Have A Straighter Smile In No Time

Invisalign is one of the quickest ways to straighten your teeth. Most people finish their treatment in 6-18 months. Traditional braces can take a long time, but Invisalign is a quicker solution! Dental braces can help you get the smile that you have always wanted. Braces are a type of treatment that can help fix your smile.

Who Is A Good Candidate For Invisalign?

Metal braces are hard to wear, but they can make your teeth look nice. We have a new way to straighten teeth without metal braces. This way is easier to wear and is cheaper too.

Some people might be a good fit for Invisalign, while others will not. You should always consult your dentist to see if Invisalign is the right choice. Invisalign is best suited for:

  • Minimal crowding or spacing issues;
  • Minor gaps between teeth; and
  • People who don’t want metal brackets on their teeth can use invisible braces.

It may not be the right solution if you have more severe dental problems. In these cases, your clear dental aligners will likely recommend traditional braces.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! Invisalign® clear aligners, like a night or bite guard, create a cushion between your teeth. Wearing your aligners for at least 20 hours per day (including sleep) protects your teeth from the effects of grinding.

Yes, it can move and change the position of your jaw. Depending on how much movement your jaw requires, your dentist may want to move it before proceeding with treatment.

When you no longer require the attachments, simply buff them off your tooth. You might not even need any attachments. If your treatment plan is simple and the clear aligners are capable of doing all of the alignment work on their own, you may never need attachments on your teeth.

Unfortunately, Invisalign cannot directly assist with this type of grinding. Although Invisalign® will not eliminate stress-related grinding, there are a few advantages! You are less likely to tense your jaw because there is a barrier between your teeth.

This is normal because the trays cover your teeth’s biting surfaces. After a few trays, you may find that you can’t bite down all the way with the trays removed, which is also common. Your bite changes as your teeth move, and there may be a stage where they do not fully meet.

To avoid over-flexing your aligners, always remove them from the back first, with both sides removed at the same time – this is best accomplished by hooking your fingernails over the edge of the retainer and pushing them away from the teeth. If they are still tight on the front teeth, let them go.

In many cases, Invisalign or braces can correct the jawline. By properly bringing the arches together, your chin and jaw will appear stronger, creating a more harmonious facial profile.

It is normal for your teeth to shift slightly after your Invisalign braces are removed or when you stop wearing Invisalign. This is caused by the normal wear and tear on your teeth as you bite, chew, swallow, and speak.

Braces or Invisalign cannot change your facial structure, such as your jaw line.

Drinking anything other than water while wearing Invisalign is one of the worst mistakes any Invisalign wearer can make. During this treatment, sugary drinks have the potential to cause tooth decay as well as stain your aligners.
